Shows "You do not have sufficient permissions" on activation

When I activate this plugin, it says:

“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

There are no “Woo Commerce” settings or entries in the user management or on the plugin list where one could possibly handle any permissions. I’m the admin of the blog and have all permissions I need.

The widget is still activated, but then the search doesn’t provide any results. The widget is dead in the water.

If this plugin requires other plugins, kindly state so in the installations instructions.

The activation also adds a “Woocommerce Predictive Search” page to my menu. Why?

The content of the page is empty. I.e. also broken.

It contains a “[woocommerce_search]” marker, but it doesn’t do anything.
