Dual Weptile Image Slider Widgets in Header loading slow

The design of this site was originally created in HTTP/PHP. My task has been to convert to WordPress for CMS purposes. I am very pleased to have found this well designed Widget that does exactly what my unique header design requires.

The left and right Sliders in the Header have three images each, consistently resized to approximately 200 KB on disk.

My only disappointment is in the not to entirely be unexpected slow loading time for the two sliders. Just wondering if you might have some suggestions for me as to how to improve this.
