• Are you also enerved by the new masses of mostly iirelevant rem definitions in the WordPress Twenty Twelve theme? Me too. Use Dreamweaver search and replace, check box “Regular expression” and use this to get rid of ever singel css definition contaiing rem measures:

    ;([^;]*)\drem(^[;}]*)?

  • No! Do not edit the Twenty Twelve theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. If you want to make changes, first create a child theme & make your changes to the child. Or create a new standalone custom version if you want. But do not edit the original theme.

agreed. just forgot to write that

Rems are by far the most complex way to size fonts (and other stuff). I’d like to see a clear explanation of why anyone would go to the trouble.
