Are the submissions being saved to the admin section?
Yep, they are being saved to the database.
ok, when you click submit does it hang or does it present the success message like you would expect?
It does present the success message. I can see the submissions in the database so it all appears to be successful apart from the emails being sent.
Could you perhaps provide a screen shot of all your form settings because at this point I can’t imagine it being anything but that.
Not sure if this is the best way to attach images 🙂
According to the settings you should at least be receiving the admin email to your hotmail account.
- Have you check your junk or spam to make sure that the emails haven’t simply been placed there?
- Try turning off AJAX submissions and see if you get different results.
I have tried both of these suggestions but to no avail unfortunately.
Well, I’ve exhausted all the common checks for troubleshooting this. If you want me to take a closer look email me some temporary admin credentials to your site and I’ll see what I can find out whats going on. You can send them to info@wpninjas.com.
Does the plugin specify an SMTP server to use?
Ninja Forms uses the built in wp_mail() function. So the same one that send you notifications for comments and other administrative notices.
I found a solution. We found a plugin to use SMTP as opposed to php mail. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/configure-smtp/
Thank you for your support. It is a fantastic plugin and the support behind it is wonderful.
So glad you tracked that down. 🙂
hi, Im also faced the same problem. How do we want to check whether our site hv SMTP server or not? And if the SMTP is the problem, how do I setup the SMTP plugin in my site. Thank you
