I’ve just noticed that there is a “template.po” at the new version. is it ready for using? I tried a translation but nothing happened.
Thank you.
Yes it should be ready for users to translate into their own languages 🙂
Hi to all i have traslate the .po e generate the new .mo and rename it in it_IT.mo ed upload in the languages forlder, and the translation don’t work, What’s is wrong? can you help me , thank in advance
It looks like there is a missing step in the implementation.. I’ve got it on the list for the next update but won’t have time to get to it soon. To send some translation files, contact me at http://perishablepress.com/contact/
Hi everyone,
I have the same problem, I’ve translated in italian, I have both the .po and .mo files but when I upload it doesn’t translate it at all.
I’ve sent the translated file to @jeff Star and waiting for response.
It’s pretty important for me because it’s one of the last steps in order to complete my project for the final exam at university for my degree.
If anyone can help I’d appreciate a lot.
Thanks everyone

Hi @jeff Starr,
As far as I remember when I completed the implementation everything was working as it should and infact the first translation I’ve applied to the plugin was the Italian one…
So could you be more specific about the problem you found with the implementation…?
@ayman no i was referring to the implementation of localization in the plugin itself.. i think there is a missing snippet of code that I’ll need to add in the next update.
i think you need to use such code to load text domain
//load Text Domain
load_plugin_textdomain(‘USP’, false, USP_PLUGIN_BASEDIR.’/lang’);
