I have other rendering issues, on a Windows 7 machine :
Firefox 20 : the QuickSand font doesn’t render correctly
Internet Explorer 9 : the grayscale filter is not “smooth”
If it’s possible, I want to manage to make all the fonts render properly on Mac, Windows (Seven, maybe XP) with Chrome, Firefox, IE9+.

Ok, I tried these webfont-kits :
http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Quicksand
http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/libre-baskerville
With the proper associated css (found in the downloaded archive).
It’s working fine except that some special characters (é) doesn’t have the same size as the other characters in Firefox.
After further investigation, I actually have one problem, even on the demo website (http://spun-demo.calobeedoodles.com/) :
The Quicksand font does not render properly on Firefox 21 on a Windows 7 machine.
Note : I’ve removed the webfont kits and cleaned up my child theme.
Any idea to fix this ?

Is the issue that some fonts don’t work the same on all browsers/OS’s?
I mean the font is not readable at all on this configuration (Firefox 21 + Windows 7).
Can you test that font on a plain HTML page?

@wpyogi : when I open the demo page of the Quicksand-fontfacekit, it works fine.
So I guess something is messing up with the css…

Yeah, the CSS is applying a smaller font size in the theme, rather than the size you are viewing on the font itself (through font squirrel).
Ok, do you have an idea on how to fix this in Firefox ?

Hang on, how were you testing the font in font squirrel?
I search for “Quicksand” on the font squirrel website, I download the webkit and then I open the demo.html file with the browser.

I think we should wait until Caroline responds because it’s not clear which font she used.
The font in the theme is loaded from Google Web fonts, not Font Squirrel. A search turned up a number of folks who’ve had similar font rendering issues with Windows/Firefox, not really something that can be fixed by the theme. I’d suggest choosing a new font, or changing the font weight.
