• At some point (didn’t notice when) the Meetup connection broke during an upgrade. I deleted the plugin and reinstalled, put in API and group url still invalid. Went back one plugin version, still an issue.

I noticed there are a couple other users with the same issue and no resolution. I LOVED this plugin. 🙁 Hoping you have some ideas.

  • I cannot even get that far. Does the API Key need to be from a Meetup.com group admin or can any users API Key work?

I am getting the same thing you are getting Terri.

WP url is invalid. I am not using the API key of the wp group administrator as mvanderlaan suggested. Are you?

    Should that matter?

I have the same issue, and probably need to deactivate the plugin and go with an EventBrite plugin until this one can be fixed.

Hey Everyone, for those of you using version 2.0.0 or higher, we are currently working on figuring out what is going on. It would be a huge help to me and the other developers if you could double check your APIKEYs on the “Debug Information” page to make sure they are correct. Also, if this doesn’t fix it then please send an email to plugins@nuancedmedia.com with a link to your site and the name of the Meetup group that you are attempting to pull. Also, a screenshot of your debug page would be appreciated. This way I can look at your sites individually and attempt to figure out what is causing the issue.

We want to get this fix as badly as any of you. The more information I can get from you guys, the sooner the we can get this fix. Hopefully I’ll be hearing from you guys soon.
