Extra code showing up in sideblog

I installed version 4.4 of sideblog and got it installed and showing posts correctly, however I’m having some extraneous code show up at the bottom– a ‘-‘ and a ‘#’

I went in to the plug-in editor for sideblog and was able to figure out where the ‘#’ was coming from :

(line 143) $replacements[] = “#“;

I was able to delete the ‘#’ and have it disappear from the sideblog with no ill effect.

However, I’ve been through all the rest of the code and am stumped as to where the extra ‘-‘ might be located to edit it to make it disappear as well.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!
