  • Hello,

at this time there is a way to show all or selected categories on the top dropdwon menu Categories, but if you exclude subcategories from it (using the Excluded Categories option in the wptouch admin) the posts within the excluded subcategories will not be listed in the parent category results page.

Is there a way to exclude categories (that are subcategories) from the top dropdown menu Categories (using the Excluded Categories option in the wptouch admin or adding a function) so if I click on a Parent category it will list ALL posts including thoses in its subcategories too?

Example top menu (excluding subcat1, subcat2 and subcat3 of Main category1 via the wptouch admin):

    – Main category1
    – Main category2
    – Main category3

Example of what i wish to see on the results page if i click on Main category1:

    Title: Main category1
    – Post1 (is in Main category1, is also in subcat1, is in subcat2)
    – Post2 (is in Main category1 only)
    – Post3 (is in Main category1, is also in subcat3)

This would allow to have a shorter and simplier main category menu based only parent categories and then showing all its sub categories posts.

    Thanks for your time
