Slider stays active during light box.

I have been having an issue with the slider staying active whenever I open a lightbox. In the slider I made a menu that opens external links in a lightbox. Works great, but does the slider does not darken and become inactive while the lightbox is open. Since its stays active, if someone clicks on another link it opens a lightbox on top of lightbox which causes issues. I have tried a few different lightbox plugins and have had the same problem. if you want to see what I’m talking about check here. Is there an adjustment I can make to force the slider to become inactive during lightbox?
