Could it have something to do with the update? Because it worked before I updated it.
What version did you upgrade / from what version? When you add an item to your cart, can you browser your website and still have the item(s) stay in the cart (as seen with the sidebar widget?). If so, when you go to the checkout page, do the item(s) stay in sidebar widget?
The item disappears after I go to the checkout page. If I go back to the cart page, it’s empty.. there is nothing in the cart, the widget shows an empty cart.
Also – if I add something to my cart, the widget on the right sidebar shows that item, but if I change the quantity, my cart empties and there is nothing in the cart.
If I have something in the cart, and go to “checkout”, Checkout says there is nothing in my cart.
I updated from 2.0.1 to 2.1.1
Can you downgrade back to 2.0.1? I haven’t flagged 2.1.1 as stable yet as it hasn’t gotten much testing so it is possible I’ve got a bug in it (but it works on my dev box). I’ll try to look for it and hopefully others can post here if they see the same problem. Of course, if 2.0.1 has the same problem, then it is some other issue.

I have the old version on my development site, and the new version on a different site.
I’m not convinced it ‘s your update,
I don’t have 2.0.1 version to re-install. I deleted it.
I just updated the plugin on my dev site, and it works perfectly.
There is another problem.
I’m not sure how to resolve it.
I’ve deleted the plugin, and all the files, then re-installed it, but it just doesn’t work.
I have all the same plugins on both sites.
What differences are there between the live and dev site? WP verison? Web server verison? OS, etc? Also, do you having any caching plugins installed, like WP Super Cache? That could cause issues. Maybe disable all plugins except SCABN as a test.
I have version 2.0.0 working on my site version 2.1.1 will not work
Ok, well that is interesting. I don’t know what the problem is. Have you tried disabling all other plugins and seeing if that makes a difference? Can you try 2.1.1 on your dev site and see if it works there? Hopefully other people can post here too if they have issues and help track down the problem. Until fixed, just stick with 2.0.0.
So I was experiencing the exact same thing on my website http://www.proctorsitedesign.com/shop
add (any product) to cart>shows up in widget
go to checkout and cart is emptied.
So I tried your suggestion of downgrading to 2.0.0.
Installed it, cleared browser cache (tried 3 different browsers with the same result) and nothing is shown in the cart on the checkout page.
Thoughts? This is literally the LAST step before I make my site public. If you want to email me at truman (at) proctorsitedesign (dot) com, maybe I can give you a login to take a look around? Let me know what you suggest before we try that.
Much appreciated. Current plugin version is 2.0.0.
I really like the flexibility of this plugin. unfortunately, I also had to go live, and don’t have time to make it work. I had to use something else..
I’ll follow this, as I’d like to use it on another site.
apfotos what did you end up using on your site? and does it work well? I’m really wanting to just make my site public and get it out there for my clients to have a place to easily pay for my services, etc, you know?
Any feedback would be great.
I LOVE WooCommerce, but I can’t get it to function properly with my theme, Nexus.
http://themeforest.net/item/nexus-responsive-business-wordpress-theme/2572585
They say there are 2 ways to ‘wrap’ the shop/plugin related pages, but in the instructions that are given for wrapping, none of the files in Nexus’ theme files contain the same code referenced in the ‘how-to-wrap’ instructions. I’m learning PHP right now, but don’t know enough about it to really dive in, or work from a ‘skeletonized’ theme from scratch to build my website. I WISH WC would work because I think it is a FANTASTIC plugin, and I endorse it fully!
So what now? … Any other ideas?
