• I can’t seem to get the Widgets to load on my spun theme website, http://www.aspotofpepper.co.uk. I added them to the Sidebars but they don’t show. I want my twitter feed with a follow me tab and also a Subscribe to my blog tab specifically.

Not sure what I am doing wrong? New to work press and not very techy so simple instructions please 🙂

    Thanks

    The theme is Spun sorry!

It appears that the Spun Theme only supports dynamic sidebars in the footer. Also, it appears that the design of that Theme is such that footer content isn’t visible unless/until you hover over it.

Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Widgets. What Widgets do you have assigned to each of the three sidebars (Sidebar 1, Sidebar 2, Sidebar 3)?

Another issue is that my login and password don’t work. WordPress.org says I already have an account with my email address naomijean@hotmail.co.uk but I don’t recall this and when I click send me the password nothing comes through (So I have created this Alias with my boyfriends email address so I can sort these issues out). Can anyone help?

    Thanks

Your footer sidebars are working fine.

Look on your site, beneath the post images, but above the footer. You should see a plus sign. Hover over it, and you’ll see it has a black, circular background. Click it, and your sidebars will display.

Thank you, is there no way to have them there permanently, or preferably more visibly at the top?

Can you help with my other issue to do with my account? It seems ridiculous you can;t email someone at WordPress about account matters such as this, but I think these forums are the only way?

    Thanks for your help Chip

Can you try logging in with the username “aspotofpepper” ? That account was only created 2 days ago.

Still can’t log on and having a new issue with Spun. I don’t know how to make all my posts appear it seems it only shows a certain amount on each page and the older ones aren’t accessible?

Please help, it’s frustrating having to wait for these forums I wish I could speak to someoen directly and instantly.
