error – warning

    Hi, I just tried installing WP 2.3.1 and when I try to upgrade (wp-admin/upgrade.php) i get the following error:

    Warning: main(/homepages/9/d171938934/htdocs/wordpress/wp-includes/taxonomy.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/9/d171938934/htdocs/wordpress/wp-settings.php on line 201

    Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/homepages/9/d171938934/htdocs/wordpress/wp-includes/taxonomy.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /homepages/9/d171938934/htdocs/wordpress/wp-settings.php on line 201

    if anyone can help it’s greatly appreciated! i have no idea what I did wrong, i think i deleted the correct files and then just copied the new ones over, but I guess i missed something..

    nevermind, i figured it out. stupid mistake on my part, i didnt put the new wp-includes in from 2.3 i guess,

    anyway, thanks for letting me air my problem anyway. 🙂
