All in One SEO 2.0 upgrade locked WordPress admin

    I am in a bit of a panic. Through my WordPress admin panel, I was alerted as to the availability of the All in One SEO 2.0 (free version). It said 100% compatibility with my WordPress level, 3.0.1. When I upgraded from 1.6.15.3, the message said the process was completed successfully. However, my WordPress admin function is now inoperable. I receive the following error no matter what I try to do.

    “Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen() in /home/domeboys/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/aioseop_module_class.php on line 612”

    Does anyone please have any ideas how I can extricate myself from this mess?

    domeboys,

    Look at line 612 in aioseop_module_class.php and change it to the following:

    $screen = '';

    Also, you should really consider upgrading WordPress, if possible.

    Hi there,

    I have exactly the same problem. I am happy that somebody has a fix for that error.

    How do I get to the “aioseop_module_class.php” screen to fix line 612 though?

    Can somebody help me here?

    “aioseop_module_class.php” is a file, not a screen. You will need to go into your file manager, locate this file, edit line 612 and resave it. The file should be in your folder /public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/.

    Sorry, for my bad English.
    When I upgraded from 1.6.15.3 to 2.0.XX
    My admin control accounts WP not working.
    I see “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”
    I have WP, WooCommerce, WooCommerce – All in One SEO Pack.
    Do u have any ideas?

    P.S.

    1) I tried to disable all plugins + tried to change the thema. Except for WooCommerce – I can’t turn off, because I see once the loop on the site.
    2) Change the admin password manually via PHPMyAdmin, then I see that the rights of the administrator is not enough.

    Hi kodzero,

    This happens a lot with updating WordPress, plugins or themes. There are many support forum posts addressing this issue. The first thing they recommend is increasing the memory limit for WordPress – http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

    Thank you very much for your response.
    Tried different values.
    By default, hosting 40 MB
    Set 128 MB
    Set 256 MB
    Each updated, but the problem remains. (((
