[Theme: Hatch] changing header height

Hi,. I am using hatch theme. Need help here please,. Anyone can change the height of the header without creating to much space between the header+bio section and post thumbnails? because every time i tried to upload an image it seems that it tells me to crop the image to 630×360?

*planning to upload an image with the size of around 640 x 180
