TypeError: e.widget.extend is not a function

    Having the same problem as many others: after updating my version of WordPress to the most recent, CKEditor makes the visual editor blank (and makes the tab buttons to switch between HTML and Visual editors not work).

    The error I get in my console is “TypeError: e.widget.extend is not a function”.

    I don’t want to bug my coder for changes to the .js file if I don’t have to — is there an easier fix I’m missing?
