Thanks for reaching out! The thing is, because of the Pinterest theme style (or the nature we present your related posts with it), we always show the double number of related posts, instead the number you selected in your plugin settings. So if you want only 8 related posts to show up, select the number 4 in your plugin settings. (Remember, first we are going to show only 4 related posts, but once you scroll further down, another 4 of them will pop up.)
And we’re sorry about this! We know this is not something we wanted in the first place but our users quite like it and we are thinking on fixing this in the future updates (alongside with other cool new features; although we are not certainly sure about it). Hope you’ll get around in the meantime.
