Event page does not work after an event edit

    Hello,

    I have a strange issue, which took a little while to diagnose.

    Everything works perfectly until a event (with a venue)is edited – once edited every time you visit the event page you are redirected to a /venue/EVENTNAME/ instead of the /event/EVENTNAME/ page, and the message ‘This event has passed.’ is present.

    Now, as pointed out above this ONLY happens if the venue field is filled in, and only after editing this page! Works fine with no venue.

    Unfortunately always getting the event right the first time when publishing is not going to be a solution.

    Hi Alex,

    Sorry to hear about the issues. Have you tried deactivating all other plugins or switching to the default WordPress theme to rule out a plugin or theme conflict? Please try that first and let me know what you find.

    I have noticed the same problem with one site as Freshmediadesign. Could not quite figure out exactly why and when this happened, since often it does not happen, and am glad you did figure it out.

    I am using Responsive ThemeID by CyberChimps.com. Having more and other issues with events-calender on this site. [http://www.sintau.nl/agenda/]
    Will set up a test site in july, am presently working elsewhere.

    Hi nathair,

    If you could also try deactivating all other plugins to see if there is a conflict happening that would be great. Please report back when you’ve had a chance to setup another test site.

    thanks joahcoyote, I am back and set up a test site. Saw there was an update two days ago but had problems updating. Will try installing the update tomorrow and start testing.

    I had the same problem as Alex from Freshmediadesign. You can close this now as far as I am concerned since I am upgrading to the new version. If it still occurs I will make a new thread.
    [I am late with upgrading since I mad a lot of css additions in my theme for the and the new version is quite different]
