Adding a second (different) blogroll

    Ok, I’m a little confused…I know I updated my wp to I think it was 2.3? I lost my laptop though, and need to back up my wp files into my pc (any advice on that, btw? LOL).

    Here’s the thing…the blogroll on my sidebar? Is there any way to add another one, separate from the one that is already listed? I have my own links on the blogroll now, but would like to add some of my favorite links to other sites as well…how would I go about doing that?

    Please review WordPress Backups.

    With the Blogroll you could categorize your links and then using the template tag, wp_list_bookmarks(), present two different sets of links.

    Just add another category and put the links in that category on the blogroll. If your theme is using a simple wp_list_bookmarks() call, then the new category will show up as soon as you put links in it, automagically. If not, you may have to edit your theme or do some work with widgets to make it show up.
