update
I can confirm that problem number one is because custom community themes, since if I revert my themes to another themes, those search page component gone, how to fix those obselete component?
for second problem, I cant get it work although I revert to another themes, so maybe its a BP upgrade problem
Hi @banata,
Its absolutely correct, there is a message on the top of your admin asking you to select a page as search page. This is because BuddyPress has his own search and the Custom Community theme makes use of a page to display the search. This gives you a lot of more opportunities to design your search page.
The only think you need to do is to create a search page and tell BuddyPress to use this page as your search page.
This is what you can see on the screen shoot: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=34qsf1g&s=6
Its asking you to select a page where you want the search result to be displayed.
The second question I guess its a BuddyPress issue maybe with one of your plugins.
I could not reproduce it. Are there avatars if you change to the BP Default theme?

Ah I got it, I thought its a obsolete code from the themes,
btw, how to make proper use of those component? I try to associate my page with those component, displaying it on home page, when I click it, it display member, group and blog, where I should set search parameter?

hem, playing with themes setting, when I use bp-search instead buddydev search, those component is not working. so this component related to buddydev search , right?
Hi @banata
Please see the theme settings description:
Use global Buddydev search instead of bp-search
Replace the BuddyPress search (which comes with dropdown menu) with the Buddydev search. The Buddydev search is an easy one-field global search with nice result-listing.
