upload to dropbox fails

i have found this plugin to plagued with problems (across several different versions) over the short time i’ve been using it

now uploads to dropbox are taking a long time – this is a simple XML export to dropbox log…

also no emails are sent (send on error only unchecked) – this plugin seems to ‘forget’ some settings when deactivation and reactivating
