Easiest way is to use a language translation file where “cart” is changed to “basket”.

Hi, Great, thanks for the tip I will give it a go.
Only problem is I suppose that yet another plugin will slow it all down just that tiny bit more.
I don’t think I have any other parts of the website that use the word cart , I hope not!
Cheers, Andrew
Hmm, thanks.
I did wonder about changing all the text parts saying cart in the files, but was too daunting especially as I know it would all be zapped on the next update.
I would imagine this should be a standard feature option, so just hope they add it for the next version.
Cheers for all your help.
Andrew
There seems to be a few of these posts, but the basics of changing references from ‘cart’ to ‘basket’ is really easy to do, as a localisation file is built into WooCommerce. See my instructions on this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/update-cart-button
This seems to actually work! I tried it on a non live site and it’s great. Why was this obvious and easy solution so hard to find?
Thanks crdust, next update (which by all accounts won’t be long) I’ll try it on the live site by adding the directories now. I’ll change the config after the update.
Good answer 5*. I’ll use your tip if I can on my blog.
