When I post, it appears that the latest post won’t show up until I delete the cache.

I am using the supercache plugin. When I delete the cache, the new post will appear on top of the post page. I don’t have to deactivate the plugin.

I had assumed that there was no need to delete the cache after each post. Do I have some setting incorrect that is causing this? Or is it just good protocol to delete the cache after each post?

    Thanks.

I did the deactivate with my previous problem with my pages, but had no idea that I needed to do this frequently.

    Thank you.

No, you shouldn’t need to deactivate it for sure – sorry if I misunderstood your question :). Does it not work to clear it?

Clearing the cache took care of the problem in Firefox, but not in Safari.

For Safari, I had to deactivate the plugin.

    Hmmm.

Did you clear any caches in Safari itself – browsers can be “sticky” about that too.

Does it help if you go to the settings for WP Super Cache and check the box next to “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated.”? I found doing that tended to bring my entire site to a halt, so I unclicked it (and instead just set the home page to never cache), but it might work for others?
