moving wordpress database is not working

    I have moved my wordpress hosting and files from bluehost to godaddy and for some reason the database isn’t working properly. I am at my wits end please help!

    How did you import the database?

    Did you properly update wp-config.php?

    Are you getting error messages? If, so which? Please be overly specific here.

    Site url?

    Did you wait for DNS?

    Did you remove old site (after a full and proper backup) from old host?

    Have you discussed with new host support?

    If these issues have you at wits end, consider hiring an expert.

    i have a similar issue, different hosts.
    i did not properly update the wp-config.php and would need help with that.
    i am getting errors about that and also about the database not being able to find a user account and/or “Error establishing a database connection”.
