I have figured out how to create my form and have checked it out by submitting that info to myself. Everything fine, but how do I get that info uploaded to a new post on my future website.

Thanks for developing this plugin it looks like it should do everything that I need it to do, if I can just figure out how to get info submitted back to my site on a new post. I can’t give you a domain name, because I have not bought a domain name yet due to the fact I’m trying to learn wordpress.

Thanks in advance please give me easy to follow instructions because I’m new to wordpress and this plugin.

If you want to create a WordPress Post, you can use the Create Post add-on for VFB Pro.

I have been on the fence with getting Pro and that addon. My questions adds to the one above. With the addon can you create a post/page that gives a formatted output.

The forms I would be building would be for guild events / movie and game reviews for example. I use Custom Form Mod on my SMF site and I have yet to find anything that does what it was.

Setup form questions, build form output with short codes and then posts on the forum.

The viewable output is formatted with the entered information. Including pictures, text formatting etc. A final product.

I am looking for a Form Builder that can do that in WordPress that works with user permissions. So only a signed in admin for example can fill out the form and submit it which in turns adds a page/post to the site for people to read.

Basically the form enters the data into a pre-built template ready for website viewing after being submitted.

Hey Carrissis, the Create Post add-on is not capable of what you describe.

In wordpress that’s more of a custom template for a standard post type or a custom post type all together.

Is your goal to stay out of the dashboard with this form?

If not the easiest way it to create category for your posts of this type and a template and use custom fields. Then enter them as usual selecting the template you created.

Yeah, I guess I am spoiled. I am sure there is a market for this. I tried contracting the author of the Custom Form Mod on SMF. The mod is no longer being developed or supported.

I have been trying to find a suitable replacement for either WordPress or Joomla and from what I can see non exists. I know forum software is fundamental different then standard CMS software. Just seems like this is a great idea.

And yes I would like to stay out of the dash board 🙂
