I was wondering if there is a plugin which would allow for thumbs up, thumbs down rating of comments and would display comments sorted by highest rating.
I run a very busy site with lots of activity and get on average 100 comments per post. And it drives me absolutely bonkers that people race over one another to make the first comment. Its always a contest of who will catch a freshly posted article first to make the earliest appearance and that pushes quality comments further down the page.
If comments were displayed by ranking, then racing to make an appearance would not guarantee any high up placement and would likely discourage hasty commenting and instead encourage quality comments.
I’ve just spent an hour browsing through plugin repository but could not find what I’m looking for. Could anyone point me in the right direction?
