Blog apperance suddenly changed. Title and tagline gone.

    Hello,

    I just checked my blog, and suddenly the whole appearance changed. I did NOTHING.

    First, the background color changed from white to gray… BY ITSELF. I went into my admin panel and changed it back.

    My blog title line and tag line disappeared completely. In my admin panel (Settings), they are still there. But, I can’t get them to appear on my blog.

    Also… everything is shifted to the left instead of centered in the screen. The header image, the navigation bar… everything is moved over to the left.

    What happened? I did not do any updates. And, how do I fix it? I’m using Twenty Ten version 1.5.

    Can you try deactivating plugins to explore whether any could be responsible?

    I’ve got 19 active plugins. None have been changed / updated recently (that would cause this). This happened suddenly today.

    How do I go about exploring which might be responsible? Deactivate one at a time until I find something?

    ugh… I think that will be a waste of time, considering that NOTHING has been updated or changed.

    OK… that was fun. 😉

    Deactivated every plugin, one-by-one. Nothing changed. Still having the same problem.

    It’s got to be something with the theme, I guess.

    Hard to say (yet) – can you post a link to your site? You might also try turning off all plugins via FTP – renaming the plugins folder – as sometimes one may cause problems even when supposedly deactive. You could also try (with plugins off) switching to twentyeleven just to try to narrow down the issue.

    Right now you have a bunch of plugins active…try renaming the plugin folder temporarily.

    I’m not sure what this error means, but I think it’s a javascript problem:

    OK… tried that. Renamed the plugins folder and refreshed the site on my browser. Didn’t help.

    OK, folks! I fixed it. I just uploaded a fresh set of Twentyten theme files via FTP. That seems to have fixed it. Hooray!

    Just wanted to post this in case anyone else has this issue.
