Events calendar widget link not working

    On the large calender used to add events in the dash board, the associated post and associated link show up and work. If i use the widget to display calendar type ‘Event List’, then the link to a post works, however, if i use calendar type ‘Calendar’, when i click on the event date, the screen greys out and no link is followed. I have to click the screen again, to get back to the original page.

    This plugin is exactly what i want, but no good if the link does not work. I have tried disabling plugins, but no luck. Hopefully you can help.

    Did you found out the problem ? I just posted the same question here but as I see it, the plugin does not seem to have anymore support. Did you find another plugin to use instead because just like you, the plugin was exactly what I needed but the http link on event does not work. See on http://www.groupeespaces.ca/nouvelles/ All the events have link outside the main website but they all are displaying a page inside the website. All I was able to do is when you create an article to go with the events it then link properly to the article.

    This widget used to work… and I have it placed into one of my sidebars. Now I want to add it to another and it has dissapppeared from the widgets lists so I can choose to add it anywhere else???
    Anyone any ideas?

    Have you installed “Custom Contact Forms” plugin in your site???

    I’ve just found an incompatibility with this plugin and it’s driving me crazy. The calendar tooltips are not working good and the link to the event description doesn’t work.

    I need both running!!

    Hi juliejcdesign, I did not find a solution to the problem and the author of the plugin told me he has does not have enough time to support this plugin any longer. Sad as it had great potential. I am now using Ajax Event calendar, which I am finding very good for what I needed.

    Thank you all for your answer. Yes I am using contact form so it might be because of that conflict.

    I have found a super nice plugin to replace that one, it is http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/event-list/screenshots/

    I like it a lot, so I thought it might be useful to ^pst it here since the Events calendar is no longer supported.
