Never ends backup at 100% (always resuming… "There has been no backup activity

    Hi there,

    I’am using WP 3.4.1 and the last version of the plugin.

    The problem is that it nevers ends the backup. It is backing until 94% or around… and then it says the following: “There has been no backup activity for a long time. Attempting to resume the backup.” And then the backup process starts again until the same 92-94%, and it say the same: “There has been no backup activity for a long time. Attempting to resume the backup.”

    So, I don’t have any ended backup at 100% (only the first one when the plugin upgrade was done).

    This is an example of the message:

    10:31:39: Approximately 79% complete.
    10:31:33: Backing up WordPress path at (xxxxxxxx).
    10:29:37: There has been no backup activity for a long time. Attempting to resume the backup.
    10:23:31: Approximately 94% complete.
    10:23:25: Approximately 94% complete.
    10:23:18: Approximately 94% complete.
    10:23:12: Approximately 94% complete.
    10:23:05: Approximately 92% complete

    Any ideas of how to resolve this problem?

    Gday mate,

    Are you using the zip extension?
    Are there any really large files that its getting stuck on?
    What is your PHP memory and time limit set to?

    Hi Mikey,

    I’m not using the ZIP extension.
    The are not really large files… The biggest one is the DB and it is around 9MB.
    memory_limit is 128M and max_execution_time is 120.

    Any suggestion?

    I have just released version 1.5 that includes performance enhancements and bug fixes that should address these issues.

    I am resolving this ticket so if you still have problems with this version, please create a new one.
