I’m seeing this question asked everywhere and I still haven’t found a viable answer. What I, and most e-commerce sites, need is a way to assign a variation with a default price that is added to the retail price. I.E.:

Shirt A base (retail) price is $20.00 with variations of size, color, fabric (as examples).

    Size: adds no price increase.

    Color: Blue(+$0), Red (+$3.00), Black (+$7.00)

    Fabric: Silk (+$50.00), Cotton (+$14.00), (Nylon (+$0)

So someone chooses Shirt A, Medium, Red, Silk and it calculates the sub total as $73.00.

Instead of having to go through and calculate this yourself which wouldn’t be a problem unless you have several variations, which most products do.

Another issue with the way woocommerce handles this is that the customer isn’t informed of a price increase per variation, it just shows the total of all the options along with the add to cart button.

Any ideas or assistance with this is greatly appreciated and I hope woocommerce addresses this because I know for a fact that wp-ecommerce supports this, however I am too deep in this project to switch and I really don’t want to because I like most of what woocommerce offers.

Thanks in advance to any saviors out there.
