• I’ve been looking for a HTML5 player for some time, and found a very few candidates for my requirements:
    Ease of use
Integrates and adheres to WP methodology and menus
Works in all major web browsers
    Automatic fallback when html fails.

One of the most annoying replies I have received from the premium plugin providers in regards to integration to WP media library (the majority of plugins today require you to copy the shortcode into the post, instead of selecting the media and then click insert media to have the required shortcode inserted to the post as is the default WP method) is:

From past experience we know that including such a feature in a plugin that will be used in various themes (themes which are not built by us) can lead to conflicts (especially with themes that are not properly built).
For this reason we have the shortcode available which is a basic copy & paste procedure
    “.

This kind of attitude from a premium plugin is not acceptable to me, but it’s been so hard to find a [premium]plugin that makes it simple, so that I can focus on content and not code.

This plugin is expensive as a premium version, but is a must if you want your site clean and without the JW watermark for one.

Thanks for making self-hosted video on WP easy!

  • Thanks a lot for your feedback. We put put a lot of effort into integrating JW Player with the Media Manager and are happy this does not go unnoticed.
