No emails being sent

I have an odd problem.
I have made a fresh WordPress install on my current host and wanted to test user registrations.
I went ahead and created another account with a different email address but for some reason I didn’t received and email.The address was on Yahoo domain.
Then I did the same thing, but with an Gmail email now but still I haven’t received and email…

But the strange thing is that I have other people that registered on my site while I was testing it and they did receive their passwords and logged in(I now this because someone commented on the default post).

I have no idea what is going on.I also contacted the host but they say that this is an odd issues and others do not have it so I think it is strictly a WordPress problem…
