    Hi TobiasBg,

Thanks for the great plugin..Great work has been done by you.

I have a few questions about tablepress..

1.) Is it possible to merge two tables, like when I import a table from excel it always asks for create a new table or replace existing one, is there a way to merge the data with already existing one if columns are same??

2.) How can I combine the first two or three rows for header?

3.) And is there a way to fix the header for new tables or a provision to choose from already existing headers?

    Waiting for your reply..

    Thank You

    Hi,

    thanks for your post!

1.) No, this is not possible at the moment. I have this on my list of new features though, so that it will be possible to append imported data to an existing table in the future.

2.) I’m sorry, but TablePress only supports one row for the header, but no combined rows 🙁

3.) No, new tables will always be empty, for highest flexibility. A work around for your idea could be to create a new and unused table with the desired header. Instead of creating a new table then, just use the “Copy” feature to get a copy of that “template table”, with the desired header.

Sorry that I don’t have more pleasant answers 🙁

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias

Thank you for replying. No worries that these features are not available right now.

Your tool in itself is really great. I will be waiting for future functionalities in the table press.

    Thank you
    You are really great 🙂
