It appears I spoke too soon.

I have installed the plugin on my forum, installed Automod without issue as well as the Wp-United mod for the forum.

However, when I go to the plugin connection page, I am getting something I haven’t seen before:

Connected, but not ready or disabled due to errors

The server returned the following information:
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file /wp-content/plugins/wp-united/phpbb.php on line 1127: array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given
[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file /wp-content/plugins/wp-united/phpbb.php on line 1135: array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /forums/includes/acp/auth.php on line 32

    Sorry for the long delay.

Do you have any beter luck with the new version?

Sadly, I have not. All it appears to do is migrate the line errors 1127 and 1135 to 1133 and 1141, respectively.

I also tried to do a full Automod update instead of the quick patch, and that seemed to have broken things. I managed to fix the error there (not sure how it ended up with multiple function listings, but no bother).

Alas, it is still not working.

    Hi,

Yes, AutoMod isn’t the smartest — it will just blindly install the new install.xml again. Best to upgrade by hand.

Do you have any other plugins installed?

Well don’t I feel silly now. I still had another PHPBB tie-in app active. Disabling that one lets the connection through.

Sometimes it’s the little things! 🙂
