Blog in private section of site – how?

    I have been using wordpress as a CMS for a site that I am developing. The client would now actually like to have a blog on the site, but in the private area of the site.

    I have used the ‘Post Levels’ plugin (http://fortes.com/projects/wordpress/postlevels/) to protect an area of the site that only logged in users can see. It is in this section where I need the blog to live.

    However, wordpress will not allow me to select a page in this section as the blog page.

    Is there any way of getting the blog page to live in this section by a plugin, hack or other means?
