I am trying to figure out how to best exclude ‘posts’ and only have this plugin apply to pages. I notice that it apparently doesn’t add the option fields to the post types however for some reason it still overrides the H1 tag because it clears it out on posts. I am able to override the menu title and page title on ‘pages’ however not posts. I would like to just have the plugin only apply to pages and not posts…is this possible?

    Regards,

    Justin

Hi Justin, apologies for the late response. The plugin shouldn’t be affecting your posts at all and especially not the H1 tag. Are you sure you’ve got the correct plugin?

The only thing the plugin does is edit the pages menu called using the wp_list_pages() function. You may see the custom fields that are used when editing a post if you look in the custom fields area, but that’s because WordPress lists all custom field labels in use across the site, but even adding something here will no affect anything on the front of your site.

If you are definitely sure that this plugin is wiping out your h1 then please supply a link to the page. Thanks.
