Zip still hangs in 3.0.5, and still large plugin folder, But Backups list fixed

1) Zip archive still hangs, doesn’t finish. (tarGz format still works though, so i’m using that now).
2) The total size of the backwpup plugin Folder went down a little (from 15.4MB to 11.5MB, but it’s still by far the largest folder i have in my site, and is larger than WP itself. Note that the 2.x version was only about 1/3th the size of 3.x. I don’t understand why the huge increase in plugin files, when pretty much the same options exist.
3) Thank you for fixing the list of backups. They are now accurate. I can delete a backup file using FTP, and refresh the list in backwpup, and it is correct. Good job.
