    Hi,

    I am new to wordpress, so please forgive my ignorance of the tools(plugins) for WP. I need some help figuring out how to best create a site for cataloging.

    Actually, does anyone know how wordpress.org keeps track of the plugins,themes, and widgets? What is the name of the plugin or how are plugin entries entered, stored, and displayed. Is it a custom page that is created?

    In Joomla, they have products like K2 or SobiPro.

    My site (and experience) is only a week old. I am using twenty eleven, have downloaded the WP Link Manager and entered half a dozen links.Do I need to do something else? I see the links and my categories in the admin panel. But, nothing is showing up on my site when refreshed. I have de-actived and re-actived all the plug-ins.
