    Hi,

I’m trying to change the background but have noticed that the tagline text and the simple page title text do not have a way to have their color adjusted. Is there an easy way to adjust this particular color since this limits the background color otherwise?

  • I’m assuming you are referring to the header area…the title is linked so this will adopt the colour of the link theme setting. The only way you could change this is to do an override such as:

h1#site-title a {color:#000;} Or whatever colour you want.

The tagline site description can be done with the existing h2#site-description css (found in the theme’s style.css file).

If making these kind of modifications, I recommend (as does WordPress) using the child theme method. I talk about this in the theme’s setup tutorials on my site support area.
