hey amit,
I’m stuck with Greek letters too….
This is probably an encoding problem (some UTF-8 that we need to change somewhere…).
Anyway, if you find an answer – I’ll be happy to know…
Thanks,
Oren
FOUND IT!
my solution is ugly, but working (:
look for a file called network-latest-posts.php
and go to line 1233, where the function “nlp_load_languages()” is defined.
now, just comment out (with two slashes – //) the function itself, or simply delete that line.
this will prevent the translation, so you’ll see a great english in wordpress TinyMCE editor window…
behatzlacha.
Perfect!
That did the job.
A small note: instead of remarking the function itself I remarked the call for the function cause I didn’t want to leave a call to a function that isn’t there. Nothing serious.
Hello,
Sorry for the late response, I need to check this. I haven’t tested the plugin on Hebrew installations, however, it’s possibly there is an encoding issue going on (maybe the TinyMCE file wasn’t saved in UTF-8).
I’m currently working on a major update for Network Latest Posts so I’m keeping this in mind. I’m going to do some tests, if I find a solution for this I’ll post it here.
Thank you both for your feedback and for trying to figure it out by yourselves.
Best regards,
José Luis.
Oren – thanks a lot for the solution.
Jose – Thank you, I would love to see a permanent fix that wouldn’t force me to go inside the code.
Glad to hear about the update.
If I may, I’d like to suggest that the update will include some styling options for the texts, such as font size, text color, etc.
