Nested If/Then Statement Featured Images

    Couple of Questions:
    I’d like to create a nested if-then statement for the putting the code on individual category pages. Can you post an example in your reply?

    Also, Do i have to create a featured image for every post so that the image renders in the tiles? Reason being, I’m having a difficult time trying to find the image which renders right now for every posts i create on my current template.
