Support » Networking WordPress » Theme editor ignoring 755 permissions – can't edit

Hi, I am using wordpress multisite or I guess now it’s called Network. I have all my themes set to 755 but it won’t let me edit any of them in the theme editor on the new site I created. Is there a file I’m missing or some setting somewhere I need to look at?

    It’s still Multisite 🙂

You can’t edit themes on the SITES you can only do it from wp-admin/network

I realize that – I can’t edit them from the wp-admin/network area – it still says the bit about the codex, like the permissions aren’t right.

    Any ideas?

Fix the permissions perhaps? 🙂 It’s telling you what’s wrong, with a whole error message and everything. Try making them 777 (or making sure the right account owns the files).

I have already checked the permissions multiple times and have tried 777. All permissions are correct on the folders and the files. Any other ideas?

(or making sure the right account owns the files).

    That.
