How to add SVG graphic as ?

    Just curious if there’s a way to add an SVG file with an image tag in WordPress. The HTML for this gets on the page but the SVG’s URL fails to load anything. (The same URL pasted into the browser bar works fine so the SVG is in the right place.)

    I saw the SVG plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/scalable-vector-graphics-svg/) and wondered if this might be required, and also wondered if/why SVG isn’t supported by WP in the first place. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
