This has probably been asked before, but I can’t find the information I’m looking for and I don’t know what to ask.

I want to set up a new blog as an extension of a client’s Web site. We’d like to place the blog on a sub-directory (site.com/blog/), but we don’t want to install WordPress on the client’s host. So, the site will stay where it is, and we want to host the blog somewhere else (on our own account). Can someone point me in the right direction on how to do this set-up? Is it possible? What do I have to do on the current host to make this work?

Thank you in advance for your help!

  • If it were my client – I would hire someone that knows about web hosting, Apache, etc.. subdomains, so on ..

That or I would use Google — since this isnt so much a wordpress question but a how does the Internet work question. Atleast I dont see the “wordpress” question.
