I would like to split my Services up into different categories similar to the way Posts and Galleries do. Why is there no option for this under services? If it’s a theme issue, how can I enable it in my theme?

    Any feedback is much appreciated.

Here is what my menu looks like under services.

That’s an additional post type that has been added to WordPress, what theme are you using? Do you have any plugins that could be adding it?

    Hi Andrew,

The theme I’m using is called doom I think. It was 1398 on template monster. This is the website velare-media.com.

I don’t think I have any plugins that are adding the services. The one’s it came with was contact form 7 and wp-pagenavi which are pretty common plugins.

Do you know how I can add categories to services?

Premium themes (not free and not from the wp.org repository) aren’t supported on these forums as they’re staffed only by volunteers supporting open source products, I’d suggest contacting the theme author because we have no access to the theme to help you troubleshoot. I’d just be guessing with any code or help I could give you.

I saw that template 1398 has been removed from template monster as well, I’d suggest looking at getting a supported theme from the repo: http://wordpress.org/extend/themes

Thanks for the response Andrew! I’ll continue to look for my answer. If there is a part of code you would like to see I could post it.
