user profile redirecting to home page

user profile page retrieval
If i use the homepage url – http://www.alanbrainart.com/author/user43041/ to retrieve my user profile page it redirects to my homepage. I may have put a 301 redirect onto the page in the past by mistake. I have searched everywhere for the record to change it but cannot find it.
can anyone help me out of this problem please?
