I could try debugging if you send me a login/password for your site. You can send me an email at my first name (Sayontan) at gmail.com.
Sent.. I used a non published test site.
Is it okay if I looked this evening? My day job and my hobby (WordPress) wouldn’t recognize each other if they sat at the same breakfast table, and I have tons of stuff to finish before the evening.
ha ha! Sure. I just appreciate your help. I KNOW I must be doing something wrong and I am not sure what. It’s weird because it works with Flickr.. just not Zenfolio. :-/
When I try to edit the plugin files on your site, I see this message at the bottom:
You need to make this file writable before you can save your changes. See the Codex for more information.
This is weird, because for other plugins there are no such issues about being able to write to them. Can you fix the permissions for this?
Also, as requested in your previous thread, did you check the Apache error logs? I still see that the code is abruptly stopping execution.
I will check again. It’s a vanilla installation. no frills.
for the sake of troubleshooting I chmod’d the test site to 777. I will check the Apache logs in a few..
OK. The problem is fixed Sayontan. I looked at the Apache logs like you said and found this err:
Call to undefined function curl_init() in
../wp-content/plugins/photonic/extensions/Photonic_Zenfolio_Processor.php on line 314
Then I checked my PHP.INI to make sure the curl extension wasnt still commented out. Guess what.. it wasnt even there. DUH!!! I went back and installed Curl 5 for PHP and it works fine. Your the man. Good Tip!!!!
Thanks again.
