Import keeps going to install.php

    I’ve just installed WordPress using Simple Scripts on my hosting account.

    After installing, I can log into WP fine and do everything. But, when I try to import an XML generated by our other WP site, it hangs for about five minutes and then goes to the wp-admin/install.php page and my browser just sits there saying “connecting” for ages and ages.

    If I visit install.php before trying to import the XML, it tells me WP is already installed.

    Any ideas what the fault is?
