Creating pages without page being added to navigation bar

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to create a new page but not have it become a tab on the navigation bar at the top of my site. Ive tried making it have a parent page, Ive tried using the NAVT Lists. But I am still having the same problem Does anyone know how to fix this?
