I’ve added the plug-in to this page:

    http://downtownbatterie.com/new/discography/

It doesn’t display properly and the graphic and songs don’t show up.
I checked the paths to the mp3, ogg, and jpg files and they work fine.

I’ve used the player on other sites and they are working fine with 2.0 & the same template & plug-ins. The only difference with this one is it’s a slightly newer version of the template. (The sites that work fine are: Tonemah.com & LeeRoyParnell.com).

Can you tell me what the problem is? As far as I can tell, I’ve used all of the same settings as the other sites on this one.

    Thanks!
    Katie

Hi Katie – I’ve checked the code and the problem is that the theme has some custom jQuery that is conflicting with the plugin. I can see it in my error console.

Check 5th point down on the FAQs for more info about how to fix this in your theme.

    Hope this helps.

Oh hey if you like the plugin it is very helpful if you can give a rating/review here. 🙂

Hello – Thanks for your response. I tried adding the code suggested in the FAQs and it didn’t seem to do anything. I even tried putting at different points in the file. I don’t know code, so can you help at all with what I may be doing wrong?

Um…. it isn’t a matter of adding any code for this issue… the problem is that you have jQuery hardcoded in your theme which is not good and is causing the plugin to break. Did you check the 5th FAQ – the section all about jQuery conflict?

I did. As I said, I don’t know anything about code. Hence, the reason I’ve purchased a theme and a plug-in to do what I need to do. I guess my only option is to revert back to the old version of the theme until I can find a better solution.

The article linked in the 5th FAQ talks about the header.php file. when I compare the new and old versions from the theme, there is only one small difference that I can see and it doesn’t seem related to the jQuery.

I will try contacting the one I bought the theme from.

I just figured out that the problem was with another plug-in and not the theme. I deactivated the other plug-in and now everything works fine.

    Thanks
